Tuesday, September 19, 2023 – The Management Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Muhammadiyah University of Malang (UMM) commences the academic year 2023/2024 with a remarkable achievement worth celebrating. FEB-UMM's Management Study Program has achieved an outstanding "EXCELLENT" accreditation from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Business, Management, and Accounting (LAMEMBA), under accreditation number SK 005/DE/A.5/AR.12/VIII/2023, issued on August 31, 2023, through the process of international accreditation alignment with FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation).
The "EXCELLENT" accreditation from LAMEMBA is a tangible testament to the dedication of FEB-UMM's Management Study Program in ensuring educational quality aligned with the program's vision and mission. Dr. Nurul Asfiah, M.M., expressed her gratitude and pride in this achievement. According to her, the "EXCELLENT" accreditation from LAMEMBA reflects that the system, processes, and quality assurance mechanisms implemented by FEB-UMM's Management Study Program, encompassing aspects such as vision and mission, governance, students, human resources, finances, facilities, education, research, community service, and the outcomes of the tridharma of higher education, have been executed to the highest standards.
It is worth noting that this "EXCELLENT" accreditation achievement was not attained easily. Thorough preparations were made over approximately 2 years, partly due to the program's prior involvement in international accreditation with FIBAA. Looking ahead, FEB-UMM's Management Study Program is poised to further enhance its competitiveness, not only domestically but also internationally.
