The Management Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang is one of the leading study programs at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). The UMM Management Study Program was established in 1984 under the auspices of the UMM Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB).

UMM Management Study Program has a vision of "In 2030 the FEB-UMM Management Study Program will become a leading study program in the development of management knowledge and practice based on Islamic values at the international level.". So that the profile of the graduates of the UMM Management Study Program consists of researchers, entrepreneurs and managers. To achieve the vision and profile of graduates, several activities are designed by accumulating experience and excellence through curriculum development, creating a conducive learning environment and atmosphere, collaborating nationally and internationally, collaborating with alumni and the industry, and opportunities to shape and develop graduates who become entrepreneurs and future business leaders.

Along with the development of science and technology, UMM Management Study Program continues to move forward so that it gets various recognitions both at national and international levels. Since 2018, the UMM Management Study Program has officially received a quality assurance certificate from the Asean University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA). This achievement follows the preservation of the A predicate from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT). In 2023 the Management Study Program has won FIBAA international accreditation, this confirms the Management Study Program's commitment to supporting the University's mission in the field of internationalization. Students are guaranteed to get quality education that is relevant to the demands of the world of work. In addition, this accreditation will also assist students in the process of degree recognition in various FIBAA member countries. The Management Study Program continues to strive to maintain the quality of education so that it remains superior and gains the trust of the wider community who are different because the students come from various regions, various races, and various religions in Indonesia. Therefore, the trust of the wider community is the capital for the Management Study Program to continue to grow and become more competitive.
