Malang, June 10, 2023 - The Workshop on Management Laboratory Curriculum of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) has been successfully completed in two days, on June 9 and 10, 2023. The management laboratory workshop began with guidance and presentations by Drs. Warsono, M.M., the Head of the Management Laboratory at UMM, and was attended by lecturers from the UMM management study program. The event was held at Management Laboratory 1 GKB 2, 5th floor of FEB UMM.
The purpose of this workshop was to update the curriculum, discuss practical subjects and governance systems to be implemented, and discuss supporting activities to be carried out. The management laboratory curriculum workshop discussed several topics, such as vision, mission, objectives, functions, and taglines, graduate profiles and Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) of practical subjects, determination of practical subject lists and (Practical Learning Plan) RPP, as well as discussions on supporting activities to be carried out by the laboratory in the future.
After the guidance and presentations by the Head of the Management Laboratory were completed, the event continued with commission meetings divided based on practical subject clusters. There were 5 clusters of practical subjects, namely general management, financial management, marketing management, human resource management, and operational management.
Next, the results of the workshop will be finalized by the Formulation Team, whose members consist of: (1) The Chairpersons of the Commission Meetings, (2) Several additional personnel. After the workshop activities and the draft of the workshop results are completed, the formulation of the workshop results will be presented at a plenary session, the time of which will be determined by the Management Study Program.
