Janu Dea Siska Maharani, a UMM student majoring in Management Class of 2019 received the Djarum Scholarship Plus 2022 from the Djarum Foundation. Djarum Scholarship Plus is a prestigious scholarship given to selected students who have good academic achievements.
Janu said the process of getting the Djarum Scholarship Plus was easy because this scholarship is an achievement scholarship which it will compete with top students from all campuses in Indonesia. Applicants must provide various things such as academic scores must not be below the average value determined by the Djarum Foundation. Then the proof of activity on and off campus, as well as achievements, can be additional points in registration.
There are several stages of selection carried out by Janu before getting this Djarum scholarship. Starting from the selection of files, in which Djarum will select students whose files are complete and have interesting contents. Such as the committee certificates and those that show the soft skills of the registrants. It can be an added value in the file selection. After being declared to have passed the file selection, the registrant will then pass the second stage, namely the written test. In this test, applicants are asked to work on quite a lot of questions in a small amount of time. Before taking the test, you should register to study in advance related to TPA questions or those that are often tested in college entrance tests to recall the tactics of the process. So that it can make it easier for registrants when going through the written test.
Participants who pass the test stage will be directed to take part in the third stage, namely the interview stage. This stage is the last stage as well as the first stage for participants who register for Djarum Scholarship Plus. Therefore, this stage must be used as well as possible because the interviewer will interview and explore how far the soft skills are possessed by the participants and how the attitudes and activities of the participants. After going through the three stages above, participants will get whether or not they qualify to become the recipient of the Djarum Scholarship Plus via email and SMS.
Scholarship Plus recipients will get a Monthly Scholarship Fund, Networking opportunities, and also Soft Skill Training. In this Soft Skills Training, Janu had the opportunity to take part in several pieces of training to upgrade their soft skills which include Character Building, Leadership Development, Nation Building, Competition Challenges, Community Empowerment, and International Exposure. These programs are intended for scholarship recipients in order to increase their soft skills of the recipients.
