Malang, May 18, 2024 - The glitter of awards once again adorned Muhammadiyah University of Malang with the holding of a professorial inauguration ceremony for Prof. Dr. Widayat, M.M, a prominent figure in the field of marketing. The event, held on the 9th floor of the Lecture Building 4 of Muhammadiyah University of Malang, was attended by academics, family, and selected guests.
Prof. Dr. Widayat, M.M, born in Banyuwangi on April 2, 1968, has made a remarkable history in the academic world. He completed his undergraduate education at Muhammadiyah University of Malang, then continued his master's and doctoral studies at Muhammadiyah University of Malang and State University of Malang. His research and scientific publications have gained recognition, both nationally and internationally, especially in the field of marketing management.
In his inaugural speech, Prof. Dr. Widayat, M.M, expressed his gratitude to all parties who have supported him. He highlighted the importance of integrity and hard work in pursuing a profession as an academician. Furthermore, in the context of marketing, he emphasized the importance of a social approach in addressing various issues, where social marketing becomes a more relevant solution than traditional approaches.
