Moday, June 19, 2023 - The Association of Management Study Programs, better known as APSMA, held a two-day consolidation event with the Management Study Program of Muhammadiyah Higher Education Institutions throughout Indonesia, which took place at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta (UMY). The event was attended by all board members of the Association of Management Study Programs PTM throughout Indonesia, including the Management Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Malang.
The Chair of the Management Study Program, who is also the chair of APSMA, Dr. Nurul Asfiah, M.M., expressed high hopes for the event. Nurul, her familiar name, said that the activities of this association could be expanded in scope, starting from research, community service, and journals, as well as collaborations on scientific works between PTMs.
The Consolidation event was officially opened by the Chair of the Faculty of Economics and Business Association, Prof. Rizal Yahya, Ph.D., who expressed his high appreciation for APSMA due to the solidarity of its members. On the other hand, Nurul also said that this event is not just about consolidation, but they will also hold an OBE curriculum workshop based on MBKM. Taking place at the AR Fahrudin A Building at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, the event lasted for two days and was attended by approximately 80 participants from all Management Study Program PTM representatives throughout Indonesia.
The series of events concluded with an interesting OBE-based curriculum workshop, which led to many discussions on curriculum development. The speaker for this curriculum sharing activity was Dr. Alni Rahmawati, who is also a lecturer and curriculum developer at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. The good hope from this event is the formation of association activities that support the implementation of Catur Darma Higher Education, revealed Handari when closing the event, who is the Vice Chair of APSMA and also the Chair of the Management Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta.
