Malang, July 07, 2023 - Following the remarkable achievement of international accreditation from FIBAA, the Department of Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business of Muhammadiyah University Malang is now focused on taking concrete steps to attract new students to their program. One of the immediate actions planned by the Management Program is the establishment of an international class.
The intention to create an international class is not mere talk; the Management Program has already conducted various benchmarking activities in support of their internationalization efforts. Benchmarking visits have been made to the Psychology Program, which had previously established an international class. Additionally, the Management Program has engaged in international benchmarking activities with institutions such as USM Malaysia, University Kebangsaan Malaysia, and other universities abroad, who have partnered with them. The validation interview regarding the FIBAA documentation took place at the Senate Meeting Room and General Administration Hall of Muhammadiyah University Malang, involving the entire Management Program team.
"The opportunity to establish an international class is becoming more open, and with the international accreditation, we aim to expand its reach," expressed Dr. Nurul Asfiah, M.M., the Head of Management Program. "It is crucial to immediately begin networking with international institutions to turn this vision into reality," added Dr. Nurul. She further expressed optimism that their efforts would assist graduates in competing internationally.
The Management Program's determination to enhance their international standing does not stop at the FIBAA accreditation. Their commitment to opening an international class showcases a progressive approach to providing global opportunities for students.
